NISA Announces Fall '19 Schedule

Jul 25, 2019

The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) announced today the fixtures for the Fall 2019 competition, dubbed the NISA Showcase. There will be eight clubs competing this Fall 2019: San Diego 1904 FC, Cal United Strikers FC, Atlanta SC, Philadelphia Fury, Stumptown Athletic, Miami FC, Los Angeles and Oakland Roots SC. "We've made substantial progress in recent months and our clubs are readying to take the pitch this Fall with our NISA Showcase," - stated Mr. John Prutch, Commissioner, NISA. "We are particularly excited about the NISA Challenge Cup on September 7th in Los Angeles to officially kickoff the fall competition," continued Mr. Prutch. NISA will crown two Champions; an East Coast Champion and a West Coast Champion of the NISA Showcase, each of which will automatically qualify for the NISA playoffs in the Spring of 2020.

With eight clubs competing this Fall, additional clubs look to announce their membership within NISA, with their league play to initiate Spring 2020. "We have also garnered interest from attractive markets for Spring 2020 and Fall 2020. Expansion is a key foundation for NISA. Our clubs and league growth are top priority, " Mr. John Prutch, Commissioner, NISA. The League also looks to add more exhibitions and friendlies over the coming days and weeks.
