CHICAGO – October 15, 2023
WHAT: Chattanooga FC (CFC) earned the National Independent Soccer Association League Cup for clinching a top-of-table finish after a 0-2 road win against City Union. With the honor, CFC locked in a first-round playoff bye and will play host in the semi-finals and finals, if it reaches that stage. CFC topped the table wire-to-wire going 17 matches before experiencing a league loss. Last year’s inaugural cup was awarded to Cal United Strikers FC.
WHEN: The 2023 season runs through October 25. The playoffs will begin the weekend of October 28 with the semi-finals on the weekend of November 4 and a final on the weekend of November 11. Once seedings are set, the higher seed will be the host club. Full details will be posted to NISASoccer.com/schedule once seedings are set.
