CHICAGO (March 27, 2024) – The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) and its partner the Independent Soccer Network (ISN) today formally announced its new streaming platform, NISA+, bringing live, creative and film content together from across the NISA landscape. The free, direct-to-consumer service will initially include matches and content from NISA and the NISA Independent Cup. Fans worldwide can catch all of the action at watch.nisasoccer.com.
“This is a really big and exciting step for the league and our member clubs,” says NISA Commissioner John Prutch. “NISA continues to evolve as a league, and providing a one-stop for both live matches and highly-curated content is critical. And as we look to grow our international fan-base, our platform will not use geo-fencing…making NISA matches available globally.”
NISA+ is rolling out in two phases. The current phase includes nearly 110 matches, including targeted NISA Nation and NISA-driven Independent Cup matches. Other content includes club-produced videos, short-form and long-form films produced by the league and ISN, off-the-pitch video content, as well as archival matches and footage.
NISA+’s primary focus will be delivering full access to independent professional soccer to a global audience. NISA viewership numbers on former partner platforms has historically rivaled Spain’s La Liga and France’s Ligue 1.
