CHICAGO (August 20, 2024) – Today the National Independent Soccer Association announced its August Performers of the Month awards. Statistics are analyzed by NISA official stats partner Wyscout and winners are determined by a select set of NISA front office staff.

• Player of the Month: Player who demonstrated his abilities on the field above and beyond any other player in the league.
  • Darwin Espinal – Maryland Bobcats FC: Espinal’s outstanding season continued with four goals (including a hat trick on July 17) and two assists.
• Coach of the Month: Coach who led his team to significant results and led by example both on and off the field.
  • Alex Kao – Maryland Bobcats FC: MBFC extended its regular season winning streak to 10 matches under Kao.
• Club of the Month: An off the field award to the Club that best promoted its brand and image within its local community.
  • Irvine Zeta FC: The club regained the honor with a fist-full of community and marketing activations.

  • • LA Force has maintained a very high level of production in all areas of club operations throughout the 2024 season. This continued in July as they hosted three matches, two of which were NISA Independent Cup games.
      
      The operations staff led by Logan Dahler, Kuvaal Patel, Leo Freese & overseen by Alex Lujan are extremely detail-oriented in their execution of matchday timing, presentation and communication.
