CHICAGO (April 21, 2022) – The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) today announces an integral partnership with Sportradar Integrity Services, a global supplier of sports integrity solutions and a division of Sportradar (NASDAQ: SRAD), to ensure the integrity of the organization’s competitions. The partnership will include Sportradar’s industry leading Universal Fraud Detection System for Bet Monitoring and Reporting, an Integrity Audit to build on and strengthen NISA’s Betting Strategy and Policy, and an online Integrity Education Platform to instruct athletes and stakeholders on NISA’s Betting Policy and Rules.
To that end, Sportradar will help develop preventive measures that align with NISA’s vision of player, coach and executive development off the pitch.
“To ensure the growth of our game maintains its integrity, it is critical for us to take an active role,” says NISA Commissioner John Prutch. “Sportradar is the perfect partner as it provides guidance and a full complement of services, which have been proven across the globe and across the sports industry.”
Additionally, the partnership will include a pilot program of Sportradar’s Remote Testing System for Anti-Doping, a fast, flexible and secure solution to support the modern-day clean sport movement. By applying a series of digital technologies to the collection procedure, the RTS ensures the integrity of the process, enabling Anti-Doping Organizations to collect doping control samples remotely, resulting in benefits to both athletes and sporting bodies.
“Sportradar looks forward to partnering with NISA for integrity services as the league continues to grow its business and engagement with fans,” said Jill Exley, Integrity Partnerships director, North America, Sportradar. “Integrity plays a foundational role in raising the level of competition in sport and ensuring that all stakeholders are well-protected from fraud and betting-related corruption.”
